Very awesome! I love watching the evolution of it - seeing it come together must be cool for you too. This is a neat piece. I like how the buildings bend as one would expect them too in that age - some artists forget that bit. Does it have a back story? How do you find the motivation to keep going? That's the part of complexity I tend to have trouble with. Do you do in all in one go, or at times? What sort of art-maker do you use? Pardon all the questions
Thank you It doesn't have a back story. My motivation is that I love what I do, but when I don't have motivation I don't force it and I just go and do something else. I usually work on paintings at least on 2-3 different days, so I can look at them with fresh eyes. I use photoshop with a tablet.
Thank you! Usually I use only a few layers but at this case I wasn't sure what I was going to paint exactly so it was good that I had the option to go easily back and forth by using a new layer for each element
Yeah? Still. That's amazing. You mentioned you weren't sure of what you were going to paint, so I take it you used no references whatsoever? Not even one tiny one for a window or something of that sort?
This shows how much work and steps are involved in the process. In ways its discouraging, but also helps me realize most artwork starts off looking like crappy shapes and scribbles hehe. With enough work and determination it finally comes together
