This house feels...alive, but dying? Hard to describe. It looks as though it's actually moving around, lurching left and right, like it's swallowed up too many people in one night.

The colors and composition are near perfect here. Not too dark, just bright enough. The lights in the windows are more of an eerie glow, which is a nice touch.

Not too sure about the encroaching splinters of darkness on the edge of the screen, though. I'm feeling a lack of subtlety where a little less would make the background creepy, whereas now it kind of clutters up the foreground.

What I like the most about this is that the house doesn't look old or haunted. It seems almost like a hotel, being kept up by staff (perhaps victims, too?). Overall, great work. It's not scary, but it's creepy and mysterious and somehow inviting. I'd stay a night there.

I really like that all the pictures relevant to Our Darker Purpose has the theme of portraying the Orphanage as an ominous entity, fully aware and watchful of every movement in its surroundings. It feels like it has been there for a long time, outliving every other living thing around it until nothing remained.

The Orphanage feels alive, and almost inviting. The way the building stacks like a Jenga tower makes it feel as if it's moving and breathing. It's scary and I'd imagine it to be totally daunting to stand anywhere near it. The colour choices are great, and the light coming through the windows works as a nice contrast to the cold and empty environment that it sits in.

However, while the Orphanage is the only focus in the picture, I feel that its looming presence is lost slightly due to the angle at which the Orphanage is displayed. The way the building was shown in previous pictures made the Orphanage appear to be standing above everything else in its environment. In this picture, the building feels like it is leaning back. Taking the position of the camera into account, I feel like the dark borders were not necessary.

Overall, while it falls short to the other pictures of Our Darker Purpose, I think it still delivers the feel of suspense, fear and seclusion.

That many stories, I hope it has an elevator (remembers Tower of Terror) Never mind--I'll take the stairs. :O
Love the angles and the graphicness--it looks like a Tim Burton hotel. Now I must look this game up....
Excellent work! :D

Kind of reminds me of the house in the COD zombies map 'buried'.

Egyre kiforrottabbak és magukkal ragadóbbak a képeid. Annyira jó látni, hogy haladsz és mész előre! Nagyon profi a kidolgozás, a koncepció, a pozicionálás és még sorolhatnám. :) Határ a csillagos ég... :D

I love how it's part realistic, part twisted, and part dilapidated, it's just perfect.
